CURRICULUM: Calgary Regional Ballet approaches the training of students with patience and integrity. The focus of the school is on correct training through academic lessons rather than lessons based on choreography for competitions or specific events. The school maintains that a proven, methodical system gives students the clearest technique, the strongest foundation, and the most versatility for a professional career. Methodical training engages the mind and the interest of the student. Vaganova Founded Syllabus: The school sources lessons from, and bases placement on the Vaganova founded syllabus and teaching method (finished by Vera Kostrovitskaya, Alexei Pisarev, and others).
